Video conference with Turkey

Last Friday 23rd November we held a video conference with the students of Tarsus (Turkey). This time we sang songs, asked for their favourite sports and football teams and we wished them Happy Christmas.

Video conference with Poland

Last Tuesday we had our first video conference with Poland, as another activity enclosed in our eTwinning project. The students of 5th and 6th of primary were able to talk and see each other.
We took the opportunity to give out the certificates for the European quality label.
It was a great experience and everybody had a good time.

Video Conference with Poland

This morning we've held the first video conference with Poland. It's been a great success as everything worked very well and the students were very excitted and happy with the experience. It was an ocassion to  celebrate with them the European Label we've got for our eTwinning project and give out the certificates, to the Spanish and to the Polish.. We even have cakes to celebrate!!!

Halloween spiders

The 4th class has made scary spiders for Halloween. They were delicious. Yummy, yummy!!

European Quality Label

We've been awarded with the European Quality Label for our project "Our School News Magazine" It's a big award so congratulations to everbody.

Twinbus Travel Agency - TTA

We have already started our new project. We've been learning where  the countries are and the colours of their flags. We have also prepared the passport to travel there and our project logo.

           

A new eTwinning year!!

A new year has began and we continue with our eTwinning projects.
Our School News Magazine willl go on theis new school year with the 5th and 6th class. We continue the project we started last year.

And the 3rd and 4th classes will take part in a new one: Twinbus Travel Agency with four more schools from Romania, Poland, Cyprus and Portugal.

Science again

The 5th year class will continue this year with the Science lessons, two sessions of one hour. The first theme is Living Things.

 

Sentence of the Month

We have started a new activity this year: The sentence of the month. Every month we'll learn a new sentence. Each class has a poster with the sentence and there is a big poster in the school hall with the sentences we'll be hanging along the year. The first one is: What's your name?

Learning about food

This month the 4th class students are learning abour food, not only what we eat but also why we need to eat different food groups and what we have to do to keep healthy. This is the result of their work.

Quality Stamp

Congratulations to all the participants in our project "Our School News Magazine". We've been awarded with the National Quality Stamp.

eTwinning Quality Labels are granted to teachers with excellent eTwinning projects. They indicate that the project has reached a certain national and European standard. For this reason, there are two labels: the National Quality Label and the European Quality Label.

What are the criteria? A project has to broadly achieve excellence in the following areas: (1) Pedagogical Innovation and Creativity, (2) Curricular Integration, (3) Collaboration between partner schools, (4) Creative use of ICT, (5) Sustainability and Transferability, and (6) Results and Benefits.

Now we'll go for the European Stamp.
